E W FREEBORN MEMORIAL MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP
Central United Church is pleased to announce the availability of the E W Freeborn Memorial Music Scholarship for $1,000.00 . It is available to a “student studying music at a post secondary institution”. To apply, please send a copy of your resume with a one page cover letter indicating how music has enriched your life and your educational plans. The scholarship will be awarded in June and it is hoped that the successful applicant might receive the award in person on a Sunday morning and share their musical talent with the congregation. Please send your application in PDF format to: centralunitedchurch@nb.aibn.com with Freeborn Scholarship Application as the Subject. Deadline for applications is Friday May 29th. This scholarship has been posted as well on the Anglophone East School District website.
Clara Stratton Scholarship
Central United Church is pleased to announce the availability of the Clara Stratton Scholarship for $500. It is available to a member/adherent of Central United Church who is entering or is “in” a secondary institution. To apply, please send a copy of your resume with a one page cover letter indicating what your educational plans are. The scholarship will be awarded in June and it is hoped that the successful applicant might receive the award in person on a Sunday morning.
