On February 9th at Central United’s Sunday Gathering, we will consider the importance of Black History Month. We will delve into the ancient story of Abraham, Sarah, and Hagar, through the story of “A Mistress, a Maid, and No Mercy”. We will discuss how scripture can reinforce today’s problematic attitudes and create blind spots. Thanks to Carol Scott for her leadership during this gathering.
